Bio: Nick
Nick first started riding trials at age 12. After few years of success, he decided to move on to competitive motocross. Although he was a natural, at that age he was unable to meet height requirements to compete professionally.
At age 16 he started to ride street bikes. Nick learned a lot over many years of commuting on his motorcycles through London, England. As Nick puts it, he learned “invaluable lessons during his many adventures riding in the streets of London!”
In 1986 Nick was professionally trained by The London Metropolitan Police Hendon driving school. The Hendon driving School has been regarded for years in the riding and riving industry as “The Best Driving School” in the world. They run a top-of-line driving institution that is responsible for training and maintaining the entire London Police force.
Nick successfully passed their intense 6-week training course. He was talented that he was trusted to be in charge of testing, diagnosing and repairing the entire North West of London motorcycle fleet, which consisted of more than 250 motorcycles.
In 1994, Nick came to Canada. Since arriving he has participated in solo rides and group rides of up to 18 riders all throughout B.C and Alberta. In the fall of 2007, he completed a 1200km ride from Calgary to Vancouver. He also participated in a loop ride from Calgary-Nakusp-Cranbrook-Calgary all in one weekend. His longest ride to date is approximately 1500 kms.
Nick has always been a strong believer in safe, mature riding while wearing proper safety gear at all times. You’ll never miss him out on the road because he’s known for consistently wearing the best and brightest safety gear! Nick could be described as an incredibly seasoned rider with a true love for motorcycles. He’s a genuinely nice guy who possesses a ton of knowledge that he will pass on to you.
